“Fool’s Paradise” Trailer, Images, Clips and Poster

Charlie Day directs and stars in this satirical comedy about a down-on-his-luck publicist, played by Ken Jeong. He discovers a recently released mental health patient, played by Charlie Day, whom he hopes will reboot his career.

The person with a mental health condition replaces a misbehaving movie star that looks just like him. The publicist substitutes him into the film, creating a new star. Despite the publicist’s decision to name him “Latte,” fame and fortune failed to bring the fulfillment he had hoped for.

Fool’s Paradise has a stellar cast, including Kate Beckinsale, Adrien Brody, the late Ray Liotta, Jason Sudeikis, Edie Falco, John Malkovich, Common and Jillian Bel.

Fool’s Paradise may be the late Liotta’s last film since he passed away after the film had wrapped production.

Poking fun at a mental health patient is not very kind and has nothing to do with a story about “anyone” can find success in the film business. The storyline steals from The Prince and the Pauper by Mark Twain.

Let’s find movies that expose the atrocities psychiatrists administer to these poor people in the name of “help.”

Hilarious Look at Discovering “How It Ends”

Co-written and co-directed by Zoe Lister-Jones and Daryl Wein, How It Ends follows freewheeling Liza, played by Zoe Lister-Jones. She scores an invitation to one last wild party before the world ends.

The catch is she takes her younger self, played by Cailee Spaeny, with her. This is a feel-good apocalyptic comedy, and making it to the party won’t be easy after her car gets stolen, and the clock is ticking on her plan to tie up loose ends with friends and family. Liza embarks on a hilarious journey across Los Angeles, running into an eclectic cast of characters.

The sizeable stellar cast includes Whitney Cummings, Tawny Newsome, Finn Wolfard, Nick Kroll, Logan Marshall Green, Bobby Lee, Fred Armisen, Glenn Howerton, Bradley Whitford, Ayo Edebiri, Sharon Van Etten, Olivia Wilde, Paul W. Downs, Raymond Cham Jr., Lamorne Morris, Angelique Cabral, Rob Huebel, Paul Scheer, Helen Hunt, Colin Hanks, Charlie Day, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Pauly Shore.

“Pacific Rim Uprising” Trailer, Poster, Movie Clip, Blu-ray/DVD

This storyline is nothing new and sounds a bit like Transformers, so I suspect this movie is for the kids at heart. The globe-spanning conflict between otherworldly monsters of mass destruction and the human-piloted super-machines built to vanquish them was only a prelude to the all-out assault on humanity in Pacific Rim Uprising.

I am interested in John Boyega of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, who stars as the rebellious Jake Pentecost, and Scott Eastwood of Fate of Fast and Furious.  Check out this interview with Boyega.

The Blu-ray and DVD have hit the streets and the movie is streaming. If you haven’t seen the movie yet nows the time.  If you are into Godzilla and Transformers, you really enjoy this movie. The battles are so awesome to watch.  This second trailer is so much better at letting us know what we will discover in the movie theater.
