Life Trailers and Clips

Life tells the story of the six-member crew of the International Space Station that is on the cutting edge of one of the most important discoveries in human history. They discover the first evidence of extraterrestrial life on Mars. As the crew begins to conduct research, their methods end up having unplanned consequences and the life form proves more intelligent than anyone ever expected.

Directed by Swedish filmmaker Daniel Espinosa and written by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, the movie stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Rebecca Ferguson, Ryan Reynolds, Hiroyuki Sanada, Ariyon Bakare, and Olga Dihovichnaya.

This clip is intense. It will get your blood boiling.

Super Bowl Ad.

Life another trailer.

Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk

Three-time Oscar winner Ang Lee dives into an extraordinary vision to Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk, based on the bestselling novel. The film is told from the point of view of 19-year-old private Billy Lynn, played by Joe Alwyn, who along with his fellow soldiers in Bravo Squad, becomes a hero after a harrowing Iraq battle and is brought home temporarily for a victory tour.

The story is told through flashbacks, culminating at the spectacular halftime show of the Thanksgiving Day football game, the film reveals what really happened to the squad – contrasting the realities of the war with America’s perceptions.

The film also stars Kristen Stewart, Chris Tucker, Garrett Hedlund, with Vin Diesel, and Steve Martin. Lee used new technology, shooting at an ultra-high frame rate for the first time in film history, to create an immersive digital experience helping him dramatize war in a way never seen before. Lee directed and produced the film, from a screenplay by Jean-Christophe Castelli and based on the novel by Ben Fountain.

Logan Trailer

The trailer begins as a very dark story and continues to get worse, but smiles and laughter appear toward the end.  Almost titled Wolverine 3, Logan takes place in 2024, mutant births are severely in decline, and people aren’t sure why.

A government-type operation is turning mutant children into killing machines. From this, Logan emerges as a mentor to a mutant girl, who has two claws instead of his three. Marvel’s superhero movies are evolving into a very supernatural human side, which is good to see.

Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart and Sienna Novikov star with direction by James Mangold. His impressive credits include Walk the Line, which he also co-wrote, The Wolverine, Cop Land, Girl, Interrupted, Knight and Day, and 2007 remake 3:10 to Yuma.

Super Bowl Ad, love the song.

I like this trailer and it appears this movie is nothing like the Marvel movies we’ve been seeing for some time.  Harry Potter alumni, Tom Felton, is looking mighty fine all beefed up and ready to be the bad guy, again.  I love the line, “She’s eleven and I am fucking ninety.”

Guardians of the Galaxy Trailers

The trailers music and tongue and cheek lines can assume Guardians of the Galaxy’s next installment, directed by James Gunn, will be just as silly and crazy as before. But, this time Star-Lord gets a girlfriend. Fun stuff all around, with a solid cast including Chris Pratt, Vin Diesel, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, and Kurt Russell.

This is the real trailer…for now.

Comic Con Experience 2016 in São Paulo, Brazil, James Gunn, movie’s writer and director, premiered the new Teaser Trailer for Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

Planet Earth II: Official Extended Trailer – BBC Earth

I remember seeing Planet Earth 10 years ago, and it changed my view of our world. Now BBC takes us closer than ever before. This is life in all its wonder. This is our planet, and this is Planet Earth II.

Rogue One

The official second trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, in which Jyn Erso leads a group of unlikely heroes to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction.

I would like to know what happened to the other characters from the last Star Wars movie. I wonder why they are not in this trailer. I guess, I will find out when the movie hits the theaters December 16, 2016.
