Directed by Adrian Grunberg, Rambo: Last Blood (aka Rambo V) arrives four decades after John Rambo, played by Sylvester Stallone, hitchhiked through the Northwest small town looking for a place to stay the night. The sheriff, played by the late Brian Dennehy, drew first blood, and Rambo showed him the who is most skilled and toughest.

The interview with Stallone is heartfelt and wise words from a man who knows the industry and understands the components to produce and story worth seeing.

After three Rambo movies, he is back for the final installment of the franchise. You can hear his words from the movie trailer. He becomes a man who must confront his past. He will be ruthless, using his combat skills achieve revenge in his final mission of vengeance. The studio says it’s the closing chapter of the legendary series.

Stallone calls this the last Rambo movie.

Grunberg worked as a second unit director and first assistant director for several well-known movies including Man on Fire, Jack Reacher: Never Go BackWall Street: Money Never Sleeps, and Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World. He directed the Mel Gibson headliner Get the Gringo. With his direction, the last installment of Rambo looks promising.

Matthew Cirulnick and Stallone wrote the screenplay, and Cirulnick writing credits are impressive with tons of episodic television and a few movies in pre-production.

Written and directed by Dan Fogelman, Life Itself follows a young New York couple going from college romance to marriage and the birth of their first child. The story begins here, and unexpected twists of their journey create reverberations that echo over continents and through lifetimes.

The second poster shows the couple expecting their first baby, happy and secure in their relationship. Watch the clip and trailer; something has happened to them so far. All is not heavenly forever.

Life Itself examines the perils and rewards of everyday life in a multigenerational saga featuring a talented ensemble including Oscar Isaac, Olivia Wilde, Antonio Banderas, Annette Bening, Olivia Cooke, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Laia Costa, Alex Monner, and Mandy Patinkin.

He is multi-talented and wrote the screenplay for Bolt, Cars, and Tangled. His work includes several TV series, from Galavant to This Is Us.

The movie clip shows the main couple we see throughout the trailer. Somehow, they influence the rest of the characters in the story.

Watching the movie trailer, I got the idea of vignettes about life itself based on the birth of the couple’s child.
