“Dune: Part Two” Trailers and Poster

From Denis Villeneuve’s and Jon Spaihts’s screenplay, Dune: Part Two follows Paul Atreides, played by Timothée Chalamet, uniting with Chani, played by Zendaya, and the Freman. They’re on a conquest to revenge against the conspirators who destroyed Paul’s family.

Denis Villeneuve directs the sequel by continuing with unique cultures and a storyline based on the book written by Frank Herbert.

Facing a decision between the love of his life and the fate of the universe, Paul must fight a terrible future only he can foresee.

Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson, Christopher Walken, Josh Brolin and Javier Bardem also star.

“Silo” Trailers and Images

Mission Impossible actress Rebecca Ferguson stars with a fine cast in the Apple TV series Silo, based on the book series of the same name by Hugh Howey.

In a science-fiction, dystopia storyline, we follow Juliette, played by Ferguson, in a ruined and toxic future. Here, a giant underground silo community plunged hundreds of stories deep.
People live in a society full of regulations that they believe protect them.

Also starring in the series are Tim Robbins, Rashida Jones, Harriet Walter and Ferdinand Kingsley.

Apple TV’s “Extrapolations”

Extrapolations, an Apple TV series, dwells on the near future. Climate change has become embedded into everyday life.

Created by Scott Z. Burns, eight interwoven stories explore the life-changing, intimate stories based on Burns’s viewpoint on climate change in the future.

Each scene in the trailer focuses on the choices made when the planet changes faster than the population. It’s dystopia, science-fiction and drama.

An impressive cast includes Meryl Streep, Ed Norton, Sienna Miller, Tobey Maguire and Marion Cotillard.

“Crater” Trailer and Clips

Kyle Patrick Alvarez directs the American science fiction drama, Crater, written by John Griffin.

A young boy named Wes, played by Isaiah Russell-Bailey, lives in a lunar colony on the Moon with his father, played by Samuel Caleb Hunt, and other residents. Wes has almost reached the age where he’s sent to Earth for medical testing. Before he leaves, he and his friends explore the Moon, notably a crater near the colony.

During their exploration, Wes and his friends encounter distinct challenges and obstacles to test their strength, loyalty and courage.

The film touches on tropes like coming of age, friendships, family and the human desire for exploring and discovery.

Other cast members include Mckenna Grace, Billy Barratt, Orson Hong, Thomas Boyce and Scott Mescudi. From the producers of Stranger Things, the movie will stream on Disney +.

“M3GAN” Clips, Trailer, Featurettes and Poster

Blumhouse brings another psychological horror movie concerning artificial intelligence development and functioning within our society.

Gerard Johnstone directed M3GAN, a story that follows a young girl, played by Violet McGraw, who lost her parents. Her aunt Gemma, played by Allison Williams, adopts her. To help her niece with the loss and transition of living in a new home and location, Aunt Gemma invites her to play with M3GAN, a robot, a lifelike doll programmed to bond with her newly orphaned niece.

Soon, the bonding becomes dangerous as M3GAN becomes violently overprotective of her new friend.

“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”

Sam Raimi is back directing in the superhero genre with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The film follows Dr. Stephen Strange, played by Benedict Cumberbatch, as he casts a forbidden spell and opens a portal to the multiverse.

A threat occurs and emerges that may be too big for his team to handle. Other cast members include Xochitl Gomez, Elizabeth Olsen and Rachel McAdams.

“Jurassic World: Dominion” Continues the Legacy

Co-written and directed by Colin Trevorrow, Jurassic World: Dominion continues the science fiction adventure. Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas, Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum and Lauren Dern are returning.

The first online poster announces the movie. I like the shot of the young boy, making the image ominous.

The plot is no longer under wraps.

The trailer is fun, with chase scenes similar to James Bond. Still, having the original cast back as the conclusion to this franchise is epic. Of course, Goldblum gets his snarky line in at the end of the trailer.

Dern returns from an eclectic career, garnering an Oscar, an Emmy and five Golden Globe awards.

“Lightyear” Disney and Pixar Go Beyond Infinity

Directed by Angus MacLane, Lightyear is part of the Toy Story series. Chris Evans voices Buss Lightyear. The franchise’s popularity sparks a space ranger to the front as the cadet goes to infinity and… beyond. China’s talented Mu Le’en also stars.

I saw a post on Facebook, so it might not be accurate. That said, the story is about the hero, Lightyear. Thus, the Lightyear toy became a product.

“The Matrix Resurrections” Trailers Shows Us What We Want

Directed by Lana Wachowski, if The Matrix Resurrections is as good as its trailers, we are in for a great franchise rebirth starring Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, Neil Patrick Harris and Jada Pinkett Smith.

It’s so cool that “White Rabbit” by Jefferson Airplane plays throughout the trailer. The storyline is just enough so as not to ruin the outcome.

“Ron’s Gone Wrong” Challenge of Social Media Relationships

Co-directed by Sarah Smith Jean-Philippe Vine and Octavio E. Rodriguez, Ron’s Gone Wrong follows Barney, voiced by Jack Dylan Grazer, socially awkward middle-schooler, and Ron, voiced by Zach Galifianakis, his new walking, talking, digitally connected device.

Ron is supposedly his “Best Friend out of the Box.” Ron’s hilarious malfunctions set against the backdrop of the social media age. Launch them into an action-packed journey in which boy and robot come to terms with the wonderful messiness of genuine friendship.

Other voice actors include Olivia Coleman, Ed Helms, Justice Smith and Kylie Cantrall.
