Breakthrough Scottish Comedy “Limbo” Practical Silliness

Written and directed by Ben Sharrock, Limbo follows Omar, played by Amir El-Masry, a promising young musician. He becomes separated from his Syrian family and stuck on a remote Scottish island awaiting the fate of his asylum request.

The movie received BAFTA nominations and won the British Independent Film Award for Breakthrough Producer. 

The rest of the cast includes Kwabena Ansah, Vikash Bhai and Grace Chilton.

Directed by William Nicholson, Hope Gap follows an intimate, intense, and loving story of Hope Gap, charting the life of Grace, played by Annette Bening. Shocked when she learns her husband, played by Bill Nighy, is leaving her for another woman after 29 years of marriage. 

The ensuing emotional fallout the dissolution has on their only grown son, played by Josh O’Connor, is heartwrenching. Unraveled and feeling displaced in her small seaside town, Grace ultimately regains her footing and discovers a new, powerful voice.

Unlocking Survival in a Gang “Blue Story” Poster and Trailer

Blue Story is a British movie.

Directed by Rapman, Blue Story follows best friends Timmy, Stephen Odubola, and Marco, Micheal Ward, who go to the same high school in Peckham, but live in neighboring London boroughs.

When Marco’s beaten up by one of Timmy’s primary school friends, the two boys wind up on rival sides of a never-ending cycle of a gang war in which there are no winners, only terrible injuries.

The movie also stars Rohan Nedd, Kadeem Ramsay, Khali Best, and Junior Afolabi Salokun.

Funny Spotlight on Lavishly “Greed” Poster, Trailer & Clips

Written and directed by Michael Winterbottom with Sean Gray adding material to the story, Greed is a satire on the very wealthy. Not much is being promoted about the movie, but it is a British comedy, and this is the seventh collaboration between Winterbottom and Steve Coogan. 

The next two clips show what the movie will entail. The humor is dry, and the situations hilarious.
