Jaafar Jackson Stars as “Michael”

Written by John Logan and directed by Antoine Fuqua, Michael follows the life and legacy of the influential artist Michael Jackson.

From the producers of Bohemian Rhapsody, the film production is in good hands. Fuqua orchestrates a cinematic story of Jackson’s life, delving deeper than his music, tracing his journey from his childhood singing discovery to his role as lead singer of the Jackson Five. He eventually becomes a visionary artist whose creative ambition rocketed his relentless pursuit to become one of the biggest entertainers in the world.

The film highlights his life on and off stage, featuring solid, iconic performances from his solo career. Jackson’s nephew Jaafar plays his uncle with striking and realistic visuals of a story never told before.

Miles Teller, Nia Long, and Colman Domingo also star in Michael.

Notable films by director Fuqua include Emancipation, The Magnificent Seven (remake), The Equalizer, and Southpaw.

Screenwriter Logan has an impressive list of films as well, including Skyfall, The Aviator, Gladiator, and Rango.

“Top Gun: Maverick” Posters, Images, Featurettes & Trailers

Tom Cruise is Maverick.

Directed by Joseph Kosinski and starring Tom Cruise, Top Gun: Maverick storyline is hush-hush, right now. But, watch the trailer, and you’ll get a gest of what is happening. All I can say is it looks like the same formula as the first Top Gun. We are fortunate to have Cruise introduce the first trailer to us at San Diego ComicCon.

Tom Cruise plays Capt. Pete “Maverick” Mitchell in Top Gun: Maverick from Paramount Pictures, Skydance, and Jerry Bruckheimer Films.

The movie trailer says it all. The movie formula fits the original movie storyline.

The featurette takes you to another realm. Fantastic footage captured for IMAX theaters.

The Superbowl ad narration tells us there is a conflict going on between Maverick and Goose’s son. Ad narration tells us there is a conflict going on between Maverick and Goose’s son. The cuts and shots of the top guns are incredible.

“Thank You For Your Service” Trailer, Featurette, Interviews

Directed by Jason Hall, Thank You for Your Service follows a group of U.S. soldiers returning from Iraq. They struggle to fit in with a “normal” life, such as being with family and living in general civilian life. It is the memories of a war that threatens to destroy them long after they’ve left the battlefield.

The story is told with a strong ensemble cast led by Miles Teller, Haley Bennett, Amy Schumer, Joe Cole, Beulah Koale, Scott Haze, Keisha Castle-Hughes, Brad Beyer, Omar J. Dorsey, and Jayson Warner Smith. The story is based on the bestselling book by Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter and author David Finkel.

This is Jason Hall’s directorial debut. He received recognition for his screenplay American Sniper. He also wrote the script for this heart-wrenching drama.

The trailer and featurette with an in-depth interview with Jason Hall are awesome and touches on the battle our service men experience when they return home. Let’s help them by thanking them for their service and using green mental health treatments, not psychotropic drugs, because they are not the answer.
