Directed by Tom Story, Tom & Jerry stars several voice actors, which is a concern. The original classic cartoons had no dialogue, and it entertained kids of all ages. Why change it?
All is not lost since the feature film uses archive recordings of William Hanna. Hanna performed all the original shrieks, howls, screeches, yells, gasps, and screams heard in the cat and mouse cartoons of 1942 to 1957.
The second theatrical movie is the first rendition as live-action and animation. It is Warner Bros.’s first animated/live-action hybrid movie. It’s been 28 years since the release of the first Tom and Jerry in 1992.
The voice actors include Michael Pena, Chloe Grace Moretz, Rob Delaney, Colin Jost. The script is by Kevin Costello based on William Hanna and Joseph Barbera characters. Costello’s screen credits appear limited with Brigsby Bear and one episode for the Jean-Claude Van Johnson series.

With the sequel, we get to see just how little we’ve evolved with an all-new adventure back in time with The Croods: A New Age. Returning stars Nicolas Cage, Emma Stone, Ryan Reynolds, Catherine Keener, Cloris Leachman, and Clark Duke welcome Leslie Mann and Peter Dinklage to the film’s cast as The Croods face their biggest threat since leaving the cave—another family.
Directed by Dean Parisot, the franchise returns with writers Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon—Bill and Ted Face the Music. Bill & Ted Face the Music
Dean Parisot also directed Galaxy Quest, and as mentioned earlier, the second installment script is by Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon.
These two guys seem like they are having too much fun time traveling.
The featurette moves quickly through clips of the original movie and the sequel. There are interviews with the director and producers who explain what happens when Bill and Ted are older with daughters a lot like them.
This featurette is fun to watch and talks about the large cast.

The next franchise title is short and sweet. Appropriately, the film is F9 for the ninth chapter in the adventure that has endured just about two decades, earning over $5 billion worldwide.
Directed by Justin Lin, the story follows Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto as he leads a quiet life off the grid with Letty and his son, little Brian, but they know that danger always lurks just over their peaceful horizon.
This time, that threat will force Dom to confront the sins of his past if he’s going to save those he loves most. His crew forms up to stop a world-shattering plot led by the most skilled assassin and high-performance driver they’ve ever encountered: a man who also happens to be Dom’s forsaken brother, Jakob (John Cena, next year’s The Suicide Squad).
Justin Lin returns as director. He directed the franchise’s third, fourth, fifth, and sixth sequels when it became a global blockbuster. The action hurtles around the globe—from London to Tokyo, from Central America to Edinburgh, and from a secret bunker in Azerbaijan to the teeming streets of Tbilisi. Along the way, old friends show up, old foes will return, history becomes rewritten, and the true meaning of family goes through a test like never before.
The film stars returning cast members Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, and Sung Kang, with Oscar winners Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron. The story follows a young family just moving into a guest house on the estate where their young son soon makes an unsettling new friend, an eerily life-like doll he calls Brahms.
Bell directed the first Brahms movie. An excellent cast includes Katie Holmes, Christopher Convery, Owain Yeoman, and Ralph Ineson.
The studio calls this the final trailer, and it’s okay because it tells more about the story.
Written and directed by John Krasinski, A Quiet Place Part II is ever so intense as its predecessor.
Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family, played by Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe, must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.
Why is Noah Jupe looking in a different direction? Does he have something to hide?
I watched the following three clips, and they had me jumping out of my seat. The creatures are darting here and there, freaking me out.
The feature introduces us to Cillian Murphy’s character, and he’s phenomenal.
