“The Nutcracker and the Four Realms” Trailers, Movie Clips, Featurettes & Posters

Directed by Lasse Hallstrom, The Nutcracker and the Four Realms centers on Klara, played by Mackenzie Foy. All she desires is a golden key,not just any old key. A unique key like no other key to unlock a box that holds a priceless gift from her late mother.

Her godfather Drosselmeyer, played by Morgan Freeman, presents a golden thread to her at the annual holiday party. The thread leads her to the key she yearns.  The thread quickly disappears into a strange and mysterious parallel world.

In the mysterious world, which seems a bit like Lewis Carroll’s “Alice in Wonderland,” Klara happens upon some quirky characters such as a soldier named Phillip, played by Jayden Fowora-Knight, a gang of mice, and the regents. The regents preside over three Realms: Land of Snowflakes, Land of Flowers, and Land of Sweets.

Klara and Phillip journey together and brave the threatening Fourth Realm, which is home to the tyrant Mother Ginger, played by Helen Mirren.

For Klara to her key and with a bit of luck, return harmony to the unstable world, she must confront Mother Ginger.

The following three featurettes show how much creative work went into production. One of the featurettes is about the famous ballerina Misty Copeland.

These two movie clips show how the story unfolds.

Hallstrom’s credits include directing What’s Eating Gilbert Grape? and he is also a writer.

The featurette explains the four realms.

The magical movie also stars Keira Knightley as the Sugar Plum Fairy. Featuring an individual ballet performance by Misty Copeland, all ballerinas will want to see this movie. But keep in mind, E.T.A. Hoffmann’s classic tale inspires the cinema. It is not the same story.
The second trailer shows more of the story, and the music sounds familiar.

The Blu-ray/DVD and streaming is now available if you’re interested in watching it with your kids. It is a kids’ movie, but mom and, possibly, dad will like it, too.

“Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween” Trailer and Posters

Directed by Ari Sandel, kids are going to have a tree on Halloween. Goosebumps comes alive once again in a brand-new comedy adventure based on R.L. Stine’s 400-million-selling series of books.

The screenplay is by Rob Lieber who also wrote Alexander the Terrible and Peter Rabbit.

The cast includes Wendi McLendon-Covey, Madison Iseman, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Caleel Harris, Chris Parnell, and Ken Jeong.

The second poster colors are much better. The lettering is on the bottom of the poster. Otherwise, both posters are almost similar.

“Wonder Park” Trailers & Super Bowl Ad

Directed by Dylan Brown, Wonder Park tells the story of June, voiced by Brianna Denski, who discovers a magical amusement park. The animated tale follows June running in the woods. She is coming home when she stumbles across an old roller coaster car.

She sits in one of the roller coaster cars, and magically she finds herself in Wonderland, an amusement park she had created in her mind and put aside.

Her rides and characters are brought to life but are falling into disarray without her. Now, with the help of her fun and lovable park characters, June will have to put the wonder back in Wonderland before it is lost forever.

Brown worked on several Pixar movies as supervising animator. Wonder Park appears to be his first major movie. Three writers write the screenplay. It looks like Josh Appelbaum, and André Nemec gets the most credit.

Other voices in the movie are Jennifer Garner, Matthew Broderick, John Oliver, Mila Kunis, Kenan Thompson, Ken Jeong,  and Norbert Leo Butz.

The second trailer tells us more about the story. The CGI is dazzling.

The movie trailer shows the wonder of the amusement park.

The third trailer tells us more about the story behind the animated movie. The CGI is excellent with the bright colors and synthesized energy.

The commercial for the Super Bowl tells us the release date. We can see that it is a kid’s movie and a lot of fun with crazy animals.

“Dumbo” Poster, Trailers, Interviews, Clips & Featurettes

Directed by Tim Burton, live-action Dumbo looks like one of the best movies for the whole family this year. I am sure the box office will be pleased. The screenplay is by Ehren Kruger, who wrote all those Transformer movies. I find that ironic because Dumbo is nothing like a Transformer.

I am glad the original theme song is part of the live-action movie. The cartoon movie is a classic with an extraordinary message about overcoming your handicap and succeeding. During the movie trailer, I never saw the mouse. But Pink Elephants on Parade is in the movie. The tiny clip in the trailer looks like the show will be fun to watch.

The movie stars Eva Green, Colin Farrell, and Michael Keaton. I am not sure who the kid actors are, but I look forward to learning more about them.

I wonder if the blackbirds will be in the movie as well. I love that scene, even though it doesn’t fit in with the PC standards of today. They are so funny with lines like, “I’ve seen a housefly. I’ve seen a horsefly. But, I have never seen an elephant fly.”

The second trailer is even better. Burton created a movie for kids to watch. By watching the second trailer, it appears the story becomes somewhat altered. A dad and other adults were not in the original Disney version. But, the adults seem to have a purpose in the movie, which makes it okay. The theme song is the same.

With that, there is a trailer. My YouTube account has a note that says it’s blocked worldwide. It might not play for you. I am sorry, but I had to write about this movie because Dumbo is one of my favorite Disney movies.

Blu-ray, DVD, and streaming are available for those who want to watch the movie again or haven’t seen it yet. The film is excellent for kids who want to see it repeatedly.

The featurette “Soaring to New Heights” offers quite a bit of information about the remake of Dumbo. I thought I saw a mouse in this video, and I am curious if the mouse plays an essential role in this new version. I sense that Danny Devito’s character fills that part of the story where the mouse encourages Dumbo to fly or the kids do.

Watching Tim Burton talk about Dumbo is impressive. He is so animated and a complete genius. Burton almost says something about working with Disney and stops. I wonder what he wanted to say about Disney.

The following movie clips show Dumbo flying, sinister DeVito and Keaton, and the kids, Farrell and Green.

The interview with Farrell shows him upbeat and excited about the movie and working with Burton.

Green talks about how she overcame the fear of heights to play the flying traipse artist. She talks about what it is like working with Burton and Keaton.

Michael Keaton tells it like it is in this interview with spoilers.

The featurette is magical, and I can’t wait to see the movie.

Dumbo is a magical story about a unique elephant who loses his mother. He must overcome the obstacles in life to be with his mother and succeed as himself. The next featurette expresses the brilliance of Burton and his magical world.

The next featurette arrives several days before the movie’s release in the US with all the interviews and footage combined.

“How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World” Trailers, Interviews, Featurette, & Movie Clip

Based on the books by Cressida Cowell, How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World is written and directed by Dean DeBlois. The story follows that began as an unlikely friendship between an adolescent Viking and a fearsome Night Fury dragon. Some may call this franchise an epic trilogy. The studio released Kit Harington’s audition tape. Scroll down and take a look at what he went through to get the role.

The third installment arrives when Hiccup and Toothless will finally discover their true destinies. The village chief as ruler of Berk alongside Astrid, and the dragon as leader of his own kind.  As both ascend, the darkest threat they’ve yet faced—as well as the appearance of a female Night Fury. They will come to learn more about their relationship.

Months went by without any movie clips or trailers. Now, there is a trailer to share. I hope the wait is worth it. The trailer plays a song and it is obviously a love story happens.

The movie trailer looks like the movie is going to be a lot of fun for kids of all ages.

The behind-the-scenes clip shows the audition process Kit Harington went through to get the coveted role of Eret.  All kidding aside, the featurette is cute and funny. Harington is not bad looking either.

The featurette is more of a promotional or sizzle reel than anything, but it tells us more about the movie. It is obvious kids are going to love it.

Toothless courtship with Light Fury is cute and endearing. The kids are going to love this movie. Producer Brad Lewis explains the character’s relationships in the movie so well that I decided to post it for you to see.

I added the Jay Baruchel interview because he offers insight into what is happening with Hiccup and Toothless.

The Blu-ray/DVD and online streaming hits the streets. The movie is the perfect give for kids.

The bonus features comes with an alternative beginning, deleted scenes, behind the scenes viewing of actors recording their voices, and a Facebook app for Toothless and Little Fury.

The bonus features include two shorts. Bilby takes place in Australia where Bilby takes care of a little bird. Bird Karma is about a long-legged bird who just can’t have enough of anything.

“BumbleBee” Trailers, Posters, Movie Clips & Featurettes

Directed by Travis Knight, BumbleBee takes place in 1987. The story introduces BumbleBee, voiced by Martin Short, who finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town.

Along comes, Charlie, played by Hailee Steinfeld, on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, befriends BumbleBee, battle-scarred and broken.

Knight started as an animator and directed the beautifully produced Kubo and the Two Strings.

The following movie clips show the relationship between Charlie and BumbleBee.  The relationship is endearing, and yet, on the edge because of the overall conflict, they will face soon.

The movie clip shows two transformers lying to John Cena’s character about Bumble Bee. It looks like the story is about the transformers, who are bad or evil, are trying to trick the people of Earth into helping them destroy Bumble Bee.

The next featurette tells the origin of Bumble Bee.  This is a period piece and refers to a time in history.   I believe John Cena plays a bad guy.

The featurette outlines Knight’s animation experience and how he develops a story into a movie.

This featurette is about the transformers triple changing, which means transformer, car, and spaceship. It is pretty cool to watch in this featurette and the top movie clip shows Agent Burns conversing with them about BumbleBee.

The second poster makes the movie more inviting because is not so serious or aloof as the first poster.

The second trailer shows what the kids and kids at heart get to see, which is transformers fighting to save the planet. This is so cool to watch because it is a girl who is befriending BumbleBee.

The movie trailer clearly has Knight’s touch. He’s added a little soul to the story. Having a female play the protagonist helps.

“Ralph Breaks The Internet” Trailers, Movie Clips & Poster

Co-directed by Phil Johnston and Rich Moore, six years after the events of “Wreck-It Ralph,” Ralph and Vanellope, now friends, discover a wi-fi router in their arcade, leading them into a new adventure.

Kids will understand the storyline better than some parents.  No matter how you understand the storyline, it is still pretty silly.

The movie is getting sillier but the kids will love it. The movie clip is colorful and fun to watch. Kids are going to love this movie.

https://youtu.be/OislyRh3LG8

I watched several interviews with the voice actors,  and they are so excited about this movie.  It took many years in the making of it. They are so happy to see the release finally here. The movie clip shows some of the excitement and adventure the kids get to experience.

Here are two movie clips showing Ralph and his friend inside the Internet where the meet KnowsMore.  The other clip shows Ralph and his friends are actually inside the Internet.

The two movie trailers confirm how silly story, but kids will love it.

It is very cool that Ralph Breaks the Internet was nominated for a Golden Globe. It is now available on Blu-ray/DVD and streaming platforms. Kids are engaged in the storyline, and I am sure more stories about Ralph and Vanellope will continue. Having the Disney Princes in the movie is a clever idea as well. I hope Disney continues to offer similar fun and oddball addtions.

“Ant-Man and the Wasp” Trailers, Poster, and Blu-ray/DVD

Directed by Peyton Reed, Ant-Man and The Wasp comes from Marvel. The story is a new age of superheroes that can shrink. Ant-Man arrived in Captain America: Civil War. Scott Lang contends with the values of his choices as both a superhero and a father. He tackles the complexity of home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man.

He confronts Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym with a crucial mission. Scott dons the suit and learns to fight alongside The Wasp. As a team, they work together and discover secrets from the past.

The movie has an impressive cast such as Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Pena, Michelle Pfeiffer, Laurence Fishburne, and Michael Douglas.
The Blu-ray, DVD, and streaming are live and ready for your viewing.

Paul Rudd contributed to the screenplay. He’s joined by Chris McKenna, Erik Sommers, Andrew Barrer, and Gabriel Ferrari. Reed helmed two other movies. The sleeper hit Bring It On, a cheerleading competition stars Kirsten Dunst. He also directed Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn in The Break-up.

“Early Man” Trailer and Movie Clips Blu-ray/DVD

Aardman Studio is an award-winning production company known for creating Wallace & Gromit, Chicken Run, and Shaun the Sheep movies.

Coming from the same studio, Early Man is just as fun as their earlier movies. This time it takes place during the prehistoric era: a caveman named Dug and his ultra-goofy friends. Together challenge the invaders to a game of soccer. If they win, they get back their home.

This is truly a kid’s movie because it is about innocence and idiots. The claymation is pure art and makes the movie fun to watch. The story took place at the dawn of time when prehistoric creatures roamed the Earth; Early Man tells the story of courageous caveman hero Dug, voiced by Eddie Redmayne, and his best friend, Hognob, as they unite their tribe against a mighty enemy. The enemy is Lord Nooth, expressed by Tom Hiddleston. He rules a Bronze Age City and has taken them home.

The Blu-ray and DVD packages have extensive special features. Never-before-seen featurettes reveal the love, passion, hard work, and magic that go into creating an Aardman Studios animated film.

These movie clips are funny – enjoy!

“The House with a Clock in Its Walls” Trailers, Movie Clips, and Posters

Directed by Eli Roth, The House with a Clock in Its Walls is a magical adventure. The movie follows a spine-tingling tale of 10-year-old Lewis, played by Owen Vaccaro.

Eli Roth credits pretty much rest on quite a few television series and some so-so horror movies.

You’ll recognize Vaccaro as the funny and spunky kid in Daddy’s Home movies.

Based on the children’s book written by John Bellairs and illustrated by Edward Gorey, Lewis goes to live with his uncle in a creaky old house with a mysterious tick-tocking heart.  But his new town’s sleepy façade jolts to life with a secret world of warlocks and witches when Lewis accidentally awakens the dead.

The second poster shows all the characters with the imagery spellbinding.

The movie also stars Jack Black, Cate Blanchett, Kyle MacLachlan, Colleen Camp, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Vanessa Anne Williams, and Sunny Suljic.

The movie is available on Blu-ray, DVD, and it streams from your favorite online source.  With that, you get to see the movie or you get to see it, again and again.

The two movie clips so how the Lewis relates to the house and his uncle as well as his uncle’s neighbor.  I have more clips available but two are block and one you can follow by clicking on the trailer at the each of either clip.

The second trailer is currently blocked worldwide, but hopefully, that is only temporary. The movie trailer is quite good and explains the whole story, which is helpful if you haven’t read the book.
