Delightful and Exciting “Wendy” Poster and Trailer

Co-written and directed by Behn Zeitlin, Wendy takes the classic tale of Peter Pan and reimagines it.  The story goes on an adventure taking a look at the wild, untidy, disorganized group of kids epically.

Zeitlin, director of Beasts of the Southern Wild, wrote the screenplay with his sister Eliza Zeitlin. Eliza is also the production designer for the movie.

Lost on a mysterious island where aging and time have come unglued, Wendy must fight to save her family, her freedom, and the joyous spirit of youth from the deadly peril of growing up.

The cast includes Shay Walker, Tommie Lynn Milazzo,  and Stephanie Lynn Wilson.

Such a cute and inspirational movie, I hope Wendy gets the views it deserves.

“Bad Boys for Life” Poster and Trailers

Screenplay by Joe Carnahan and Chris Bremner and directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, Bad Boys for Life hooks us up with the Bad Boys Mike Lowrey, played by Will Smith, and Marcus Burnett, played by Martin Lawrence.

They are back together for one last ride. If you know the first movie, you know the second one is pretty much the same. The Bad Boys are older and not as light on their toes as they were in the first movie.

The rest of the cast includes Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Charles Melton, Paola Nunez, Kate Del Castillo, Nicky Jam, and Joe Pantoliano.

Attractive and Powerful “The Photograph” Poster, Clips, Trailers, Featurettes

Perfect Valentine’s Day Movie

Written and directed by Stella Meghie, The Photograph brings a sweeping love story about forgiveness and finding the courage to seek the truth, no matter where it may lead you.

Starring Issa Rae, Lakeith Stanfield, Chanté Adams, and Y’lan Noel.

Here are two more trailers that speak for themselves.

Three of the following four clips are in the trailers. The one clip, a flashback, tells more about the story.

The featurette communicates the importance that this movie comes across as a black people’s movie.

The following two featurettes were released before the movie arrived in the theatres, so they get you interested in going to the cinema.

I like this movie clip because the chemistry is sizzling between these two people, and they seem comfortable with each other.

“The Grudge” Clips, Posters, Featurette, and Trailers

Directed by Nicolas Pesce, The Grudge stars Andrea Riseborough, Demián Bichir, John Cho, Betty Gilpin, Lin Shaye, and Jacki Weaver.

The screenplay by Nicolas Pesce and a story by Nicolas Pesce and Jeff Buhler, The Grudge storyline, comes from the film Ju-On: The Grudge, written and directed by Takashi Shimizu.

Produced by Sami Raimi, The Grudge is a twisted take on Shimizu’s horror classic. I couldn’t watch the trailer because it was too scary.

The featurette explains how the story is based on a Japanese film, yet the American version is scarier. If you love horror, you will love this featurette.

The following three clips show how creepy and scary the movie is. The bathtub scene is the worst one out of all the clips — super frightening.

“Black Christmas” Poster, Clips & Trailers

From the script written by Sophia Takal and April Wolfe with Takal also directing, Black Christmas is a horror Christmas movie that is something to consider for the holidays. If you are a diehard fan of the genre, here comes a timely horror movie that takes on the 1974 slasher classic and sets the present tone as a campus killer faces a challenging group of friends in sisterhood.

Hawthorne College is rolling up its campus walkways and slowing down for the holidays. But Riley Stone, played by Imogen Poots, and her Mu Kappa Epsilon sisters, including athlete Marty, played by Lily Donoghue, rebel Kris, played by Aleyse Shannon, and chef Jesse, played by Brittany O’Grady.

They prepare to deck the halls with a series of seasonal parties, but a black-masked stalker begins killing sorority women, one by one.

The body count rises, and Riley and her squad start to question whether they can trust any man. The men Include Marty’s beta-male boyfriend, Nate, played by Simon Mead, Riley’s new crush Landon, played by Caleb Eberhardt, or even esteemed classics instructor Professor Gelson, played by Cary Elwes.

Whoever the killer is, he’s about to discover that this generation’s young women aren’t about to be anybody’s victims.

The next two clips lack information about the movie. They give you an idea of how the film flows.

Innovative “Little Women” Trailer, Clips, Featurettes, Posters

Based on the perennial novel by Louisa May Alcott and written for the screen and directed by Greta Gerwig, Little Women comes to the movie houses once again with Saoirse Ronan in the lead role as the Alcott’s distinctly other-self, Jo March.

Most of you are familiar with Gerwig’s Lady Bird, where Ronan played Lady Bird, a teenage girl trying to find the meaning of life through a coming of age and innocence. Gerwig also casts another alumnus from the movie, Timothée Chalamet, who plays the neighbor Laurie.

Jo reflects back and forth in her fictional life as Gerwig crafts the beloved story of the March sisters. They are four young women, each determined to live life on her terms, which is timeless and timely.

The sisters in the movie include Emma Watson, Florence Pugh, Eliza Scanlen, Laura Dern as Marmee, and Meryl Streep as Aunt March. New York Film Critics Circle (2019) awarded Laura Dern Best Supporting Actress for both Little Women and Marriage Story.

Gerwig tight directing brings new life to Little Women, as you can see in this clip.

I like this movie clip because it’s clean and smooth, and the message is clear.

The movie shot beautifully, love Dern as the mother.

I love this clip with Letts. It’s so good.

The next set of featurettes tells the story of making the movie.

“The Laundromat” Images and Clips

THE LAUNDROMAT

The Laundromat follows Ellen Martin, played by Meryl Streep, as her idyllic vacation necessitates an unbelievable twist when she investigates a fake insurance policy, only to find herself down a rabbit hole of questionable dealings linked to a Panama City law firm, and its vested interest in helping the world’s wealthiest citizens amass even larger fortunes.

THE LAUNDROMAT

The charming, and very well-dressed, founding partners Jürgen Mossack, played by Gary Oldman, and Ramón Fonseca, played by Antonio Banderas, are experts in the seductive ways of shell companies and offshore accounts help the rich and powerful prosper.

THE LAUNDROMAT

They are about to show us that Ellen’s expose only hints at the tax evasion, bribery, and other illicit absurdities that the super-wealthy indulge in to support the world’s corrupt financial system.

The movie clip shows the theme of the movie, and it is a comedy with a sense of hilarity in the two men talking to the camera while Streep talks about corruption.

The next movie clip explains Martin’s goal and purpose for exposing these to con artists.

Surging High Tech “Bloodshot” Poster, Trailer, Images

Watch Bloodshot with Sam Heughan from Outlander

Directed by David S. F. Wilson, Bloodshot follows the story based on the bestselling comic book. Vin Diesel stars as Ray Garrison, a soldier recently killed in action and brought back to life as the superhero Bloodshot by the RST corporation.

With an army of nanotechnology in his veins, he’s an unstoppable force –stronger than ever and able to heal instantly.  But in controlling his body, the company has sway over his mind and memories, too. Now, Ray doesn’t know what’s real and what’s not – but he’s on a mission to find out.

Vin Diesel and Sam Heughan

Bloodshot is Wilson’s first feature film. He has an extensive career in visual effects from games to movies like Star Wars and The Avengers games.

Outlander‘s Sam Heughan

Eric Heisserer and Jeff Wadlow wrote the screenplay based on the comic book series by Yvel Guichet, Bob Layton, Don Perlin, and Kevin VanHook. Heisserer’s credits include Arrival and Bird Box. Waldow’s credits include writing and directing Truth or Dare and Kick-Ass 2.

The comic-book movie also stars Eiza Gonzalez, Sam Heughan, Toby Kebbell, and Guy Pearce.

Watching the trailer, we see Heughan, who plays Jimmy Dalton as the robot man with mechanical tentacles.

The second trailer is not all that different from the first trailer, but clips show subtle humor and lightness, which lets the public know it’s not all violence and death.

“Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway” Hilarious Trailers and Poster

Co-written and directed by Will Gluck, Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway greets Peter, played by James Corden. He and his friends return for more ventures.

The rabbits created a makeshift family, but despite his best efforts, Peter can’t seem to shake his mischievous reputation.

Adventuring out of the garden, Peter finds himself in a world where his mischief is appreciated, but when his family risks everything to come looking for him, Peter must figure out what kind of bunny he wants to be.

Patrick Burleigh is also an actor and a director, co-wrote the screenplay with Gluck based on the stories by Beatrice Potter. Gluck is also a producer and is known for Easy A, Friends with Benefits, Annie, Peter Rabbit, and several TV shows, including The Michael J. Fox Show.

The rest of the cast includes Rose Byrne, Domhnall Gleeson, David Oyelowo, Elizabeth Debicki, and Margot Robbie.

The second trailer is very different from the first trailer. The second trailer shows an adventurous story of Peter trying to save his friends while Mr. Gregor helps because he is a father to these crazy animals.

Astonishingly Entertaining “Dolittle” Trailers and Posters

Watch Robert Downey Jr master Dr, Dolittle
Rex Harrison and Eddie Murphy played the beloved Dr. Dolittle before this production with Robert Downey Jr.

Written and directed by Stephen Gaghan, based on the story by Thomas Shepherd, Dolittle excites one of literature’s most enduring characters and stories in an expressive remake of the classic tale of the man who talks to animals, Dr. John Dolittle, played by Robert Downey Jr.

The movie is available on Prime and wherever DVDs and Blu-rays are sold.

After losing his wife seven years earlier, Dolittle becomes eccentric but a famed doctor and veterinarian of Queen Victoria’s England. He hermits himself away behind the high walls of Dolittle Manor with only his menagerie of exotic animals for company.

But when the young queen, played by Jessie Buckley, falls gravely ill, a reluctant Dolittle set sails on a grand adventure to a mythical island in search of a cure, recovering his wit and courage as he crosses old adversaries and discovers fascinating creatures.

The doctor is accompanied on his journey by a young, self-appointed apprentice, played by Harry Collett. Joining the doctor are a loud circle of animal friends, including an anxious gorilla, voiced by Rami Malek, an enthusiastic but bird-brained duck, spoken by Octavia Spencer, a bickering duo of a cynical ostrich, voiced by Kumail Nanjiani, and an upbeat polar bear, voiced by John Cena, and a headstrong parrot, voiced by Emma Thompson, who serves as Dolittle’s most esteemed advisor and confidante.

The movie also stars Antonio Banderas, Michael Sheen, Jim Broadbent. It features additional voice performances from Marion Cotillard, Frances de la Tour, Carmen Ejogo, Ralph Fiennes, Selena Gomez, Tom Holland, and Craig Robinson.

The next trailer offers more information about the movie, and it seems more entertaining.
