“Abigail” Delivers Horror, Campy Humor

Greed and Betrayal

Can children be monsters?

After a group of would-be criminals kidnaps the 12-year-old ballerina daughter of an influential underworld figure, all they have to do is collect a $50 million ransom. And watch the girl overnight in an isolated mansion.

Things quickly go very wrong.

Survival under pressure

After taking her to the secluded mansion, the kidnappers realize Abigail isn’t a normal child. She’s a centuries-old vampire. One by one, she hunts them down inside the house, turning the situation into a bloody, darkly comedic endurance game. Kidnappers try to stay alive and try to figure out how to escape.

Creative Vampire Action Scenes

The movie brews classic vampire horror with humor, delivering lots of gore, twists, and a “trapped in a house” setup. The captors become the victims, which makes for good entertainment.
