“Knuckles” Featurette and Posters

From Paramount+, the new live-action series follows Knuckles, played by Idris Elba, on a hilarious and action-packed journey of self-discovery as he agrees to train Wade Whipple, played by Adam Pally, as his protégé and teach him the ways of the Echidna warrior.

Jane Season 2

“Jane” Season Two on Apple TV

Jane is a 9-year-old budding environmentalist on a quest to save endangered animals. Using her powerful imagination, Jane takes her best friends, David and Greybeard, the chimpanzee, on epic adventures to help protect wild animals all around the world because, according to her idol, Dr. Jane Goodall: “Only if we understand will we care. Only if we care will we help. Only if we help can they be saved.”

The cast includes Ava Louise Murchison, Mason Blomberg, Tamara Almeida, Dan Abramovici, Jazz Allen, and Sam Marra.

“Kung Fu Panda 4” Trailer, Poster, Clips and Featurettes

Mike Mitchell directs Kung Fu Panda 4. The story begins after three death-defying adventures, defeating world-class villains with his unmatched courage and mad martial arts skills; Po, the Dragon Warrior, played by Jack Black, is called upon by destiny to give it a rest. More specifically, he’s tapped to become the Spiritual Leader of the Valley of Peace.

That poses a couple of obvious problems. First, Po knows as much about spiritual leadership as he does about the Paleo diet, and second, he needs to quickly find and train a new Dragon Warrior before he can assume his new lofty position.

Even worse, a recent sighting of a wicked, powerful sorceress, Chameleon, played by Viola Davis, a tiny lizard who can shapeshift into any creature, large or small. Chameleon has her greedy, beady little eyes on Po’s Staff of Wisdom, which would give her the power to re-summon all the master villains Po has defeated into the spirit realm.

So, Po’s going to need some help. He finds it as a crafty, quick-witted thief, Zhen, played by Awkwafina, a corsac fox who gets under Po’s fur but whose skills will prove invaluable. This comedic odd-couple duo must cooperate to protect the Valley of Peace from Chameleon’s reptilian claws. In the process, Po will discover that heroes appear in the most unexpected places.

The supporting cast includes Dustin Hoffman, James Hong, Bryan Cranston and Ian McShane.

“X-Men ’97” Trailer, Featurette and Clips

Created by Beau DeMayo, X-Men ’97 is an animated series streaming from Disney+, based on the Marvel superhero team X-Men.

It’s a revival of the X-Men, continuing from where the series ended under DeMayo’s guidance.

Voice actors include Cathal J. Dodd, Ray Chase and Jennifer Hale.

“Iwájú” Trailer, Clips and Featurette

Disney+ streams Iwájú, a comic-style animated science-fiction mini-series in futuristic Lagos, Nigeria. The coming-of-age story follows Tola, a young girl from a wealthy island. Her best friend, Kole, is a self-taught tech genius. Together, they discover the dangers and secrets hidden in their different cultures.

Tola’s father gives her a pet lizard with superpowers, which helps her overcome some menacing characters on the poor island.

“Lego Marvel Avengers: Code Red” Trailer

The Avengers team up to save New York City. After an argument between Black Widow and her father, he disappears under mysterious circumstances.

The Avengers need to determine where her father has gone, and it’s up to the Black Widow to lead the team to locate the villainous Collector.

Kids should enjoy this episodic program on Disney Plus.

“Dora and the Fantastical Creatures” Trailers

The beloved Latina heroine Dora is coming to the big screen in an all-new animated short film called Dora and the Fantastical Creatures. The film will only show in theaters starting Friday, Sept. 29th, and is perfect for kids of all ages. Movie fans of all ages around the world seeing PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie will experience the original theatrical short. It heralds the return of Dora as an all-new CG-animated preschool series. It’ll stream only on Paramount+ in spring 2024 in the U.S. Internationally.

In Dora and the Fantastical Creatures, Dora is voiced by Diana Zermeño, and Asher Spence voices Boots. They embark on an incredible adventure to the land of alebrijes, the most magical and colorful creatures in the rainforest. They must band against Swiper, which Marc Weiner voices, to save the beloved alebrijes and their Copal Tree Celebration. 

The short film also features Anairis Quiñones as Luna Arcoiris, Danny Burstein as Sol, and Kate del Castillo as Ale.

Directed by Thea Sharrock, The One and Only Ivan follows a gorilla named Ivan, who is played by Sam Rockwell. He tries to piece together his past with the help of an elephant named Stella as they hatch a plan to escape from captivity.

Starring in the movie is Helen Mirren, Danny De Vito, Angelina Jolie, Phillipa Soo, Bryan Cranston, Chaka Khan.

“Arctic Dogs” Poster and Trailer

Directed by Aaron Woodley, Swifty is an Arctic Fox played by Jeremy Renner works in the mailroom of the Arctic Blast Delivery Service. He dreams of becoming a Top Dog. It’s a position as the Arctic’s star husky courier. To prove himself worthy of the role, Swifty secretly steals a sled and delivers a mysterious package to a hidden location.

He stumbles upon a hidden fortress, where he comes face to face with Otto Von Walrus, played by John Cleese, a blubbery evil genius. Von Walrus walks around on mechanical legs and commands a loyal army of oddly polite puffin henchmen.

Swifty quickly discovers Otto Von Walrus’ plan to drill beneath the Arctic surface to release enough ancient gas to melt the Arctic, so he can rule as the world’s supreme leader.

Now, Swifty enlists the help of his friends: PB, played by Alec Baldwin, an introverted polar bear, Lemmy, played by James Franco, a scatterbrained albatross, Jade Fox, played by Heidi Klum, a tough as nails mechanic, Leopold, played by Omar Sy, and Bertha, also played by Heidi Klum, two conspiracy theorist otters and Magda, played by Anjelica Huston, the curmudgeonly boss.

The ragtag group of Arctic misfits bands together to stop Otto Von Walrus’ sinister plans and save the day.

Woodley is an award-winning director with credits as a writer and editor. He’s directed not just movies but shorts and episodic TV shows.

“Playmobil: The Movie” Poster and Trailer

The movie is an animated adventure about Playmobil brand toys.

Directed by Lino DiSalvo, Playmobil: The Movie is an animated action-adventure about a top-secret organization that caused citizens from different lands to vanish from thin air.

The dashing and charismatic secret agent Rex Dasher, voiced by Daniel Radcliffe, partners with smooth-talking food truck driver Del, voiced by Jim Gaffigan, and Marla, voiced by Anya Taylor-Joy, a smart, savvy civilian with her own secret agenda.

Together they plan a rescue of the citizens going against unthinkable odds, the trio goes on a fantastic journey across stunning new worlds as they gather clues for their rescue mission.

Goes without saying, the movie comes from the Playmobil brand toys. Also starring as voice actors in the movie are Dino Andrade, Gabriel Bateman, and Ian James Corlett.

 Blaise Hemingway, Greg Erb, and Jason Oremland wrote the screenplay with story by DiSalvo, who started in the business as an animator.
