“Flight Risk” With Mark Wahlberg, Michelle Dockery, Topher Grace

Mel Gibson directed Flight Risk, starring Mark Wahlberg, Michelle Dockery and Topher Grace.

Written by Jared Rosenberg, this suspense thriller has a pilot, played by Wahlberg, transporting an Air Marsha, played by Dockery, accompanying a fugitive, played by Grace, to trial.

Crossing the Alaskan wilderness, they experience soaring tensions and tested trust because not everyone on board is who they seem.

Dockery says she appreciated being in the tight space while at the same time “flying through the mountains looking at those incredible views. It was really refreshing – even though we weren’t actually ‘flying.’ Flight Risk is about three characters who can’t go anywhere, so there’s a kind of intimacy and beauty that will be powerful on the big screen. It will feel vast, and it will feel like they’re alone out there.”

“Any time you’re in an aircraft, especially one as small as ours, it’s going to be claustrophobic,” Gibson explains. “We’ve played into everyone’s fear of flying, high altitudes, falling, and crashing.”

At the same time, what’s happening outside the plane provides its own kind of thrills, as Gibson continues, “The beauty of the film is that it takes place over the beautiful Alaskan Alps, which are stunning and spectacular, as well as intimidating and scary.”

Gibson was also drawn to the project because the script “kept me guessing and had some unexpected laughs; it was terrifying and had an intriguing mix of elements I found charming. There are no dead spots.”

“Arthur the King” Trailer, Clips, Images, Interview

Simon Cellan Jones directed Arthur the King based on an incredible true story.

Over ten days and 435 miles, an unbreakable bond is forged between pro adventure racer Michael Light, played by Mark Wahlberg, and a scrappy street dog companion dubbed Arthur.

As the team is pushed to their outer limits of endurance in the race, Arthur redefines what victory, loyalty, and friendship genuinely mean.

A slightly longer version of the first Ziplining clip because the scene starts earlier.

The story takes us back to where it all began when a young Scooby and Shaggy first meet and team up with Velma, Daphne, and Fred to launch Mystery Incorporated.

“Instant Family” Featurette, Movie Clips, “I’ll Stay” Song & Trailer

Co-written and directed by Sean Anders, Instant Family is based on real events in Anders’ life when he and his wife decided to adopt three kids over the age of five. Releasing the featurette before the movie trailer is unique but effective.  Watch the featurette and you will understand the reason for the featurette first. Anders and his wife are telling the story and the featurette focuses on their story.

Mark Wahlberg stars as Pete in the movie about a childless, married couple who decide to adopt three children. Isabela Moner, Octavia Spencer, and Rose Byrne also star in the movie. Moner and Wahlberg previously starred together in Transformers: The Last Knight.

This is the third collaboration for both Wahlberg and Anders. Their other movies are Daddy’s Home, and Daddy’s Home 2.

She is very beautiful and vibrant. “I’ll Stay” is so true about families.  I hope this clip isn’t blocked because of the song’s copyright.

These movie clips are fun to watch. The first one is so funny, hilarious.  Enjoy!

The movie clips so how much fun this movie is to watch. Enjoy!

John Morris co-wrote the screenplay. His other movies include Dumb and Dumber and Sex Drive.  At times, Morris wears the hat of producer.

The movie trailer came out after the release of the featurette.

“Mile 22” Trailers, Featurette & Poster

Directed by Peter Berg, Mile 22 seems to be about an operative group trying to get a fugitive out of a country and into America. Mark Wahlberg is the main character that we follow and appears to be narrating the movie trailer.

Not much information about the movie is available. Berg is an actor turned director. His credits include two recent films shot with Mark Wahlberg. Patriots Day and Deepwater Horizon are both based on true stories of actual tragedies in America.

Mile 22 also stars John Malkovich, Lauren Cohan, Iko Uwais, and Ronda Rousey.

The movie is streaming, and the Blu-ray and DVD hit the streets. Now is your chance to see the film if you missed it while it was in the theaters or if you see it again.

I like this feature because they talk about a secret military division.

The final trailer keeps the story simple and tells us more about the main character’s team.

The red band trailer uses four-letter words. The movie trailer tells more of the story and more of Malkovich.

The trailer shows how Berg helmed the movie with tight, unclear shots with lots of bombs going off and supercharged guns blasting away.

“All the Money in the World” Christopher Plummer Interview with Ridley Scott And Trailers

Directed by Ridley Scott, All the Money in the World follows the kidnapping of 16-year-old John Paul Getty III, played by Charlie Plummer, and the desperate attempt by his devoted mother Gail, played by Michelle Williams to convince his billionaire grandfather, played by Kevin Spacey, to pay the ransom.

Getty Sr. refuses, and Gail attempts to sway him as her son’s captors become increasingly volatile and brutal. With her son’s life in the balance, Gail and Getty’s advisor, played by Mark Wahlberg, become unlikely allies in the race against time that ultimately reveals the true and lasting value of love over money.

Watching the movie’s trailer, the acting is superb and the story will drive the movie. I didn’t even recognize Spacey, which is awesome. It looks like he is truly playing a different role than is usual tough guy image.  Michelle Williams as the distraught mother is brilliant. I am sensing Mark Walberg is in a career-defining role.

Oscar nomination for Christopher Plummer with Ridley Scott.

The story is straight from the headlines and based on a true story. All the Money in the World looks like a winner.

Interesting and Absolutely Lowest “Patriots Day” Teaser Trailer

Directed by Peter Berg, Patriots Day is about the after-effects of an undefinable act of terror. Police Sergeant Tommy Saunders, played by Mark Wahlberg, joins gutsy survivors, first responders, and investigators in a race against the clock to hunt down the bombers before they attack again.

The movie interlaces the stories of Special Agent Richard Deslauriers, played by Kevin Bacon, Police Commissioner Ed Davis, played by John Goodman, Sergeant Jeffrey Pugliese, played by J. K. Simmons, and nurse Carol Saunders, played by Michelle Monaghan. This a horrendous story that chronicle captures the suspense of one of the most high-level manhunts in law enforcement history and the strength of Boston’s people.

Based on a true story, so it is enticing. The cast is brilliant and guided by a true to the core director who worked with Wahlberg on Deepwater Horizon.

“Transformers: The Last Knight” Trailers

Transformers: The Last Knight will be a summer movie, and it looks like some cast members are returning. It’s nice to see Anthony Hopkins in this movie, this time around.

The movie is streaming and available on all discs if you want to see it again or haven’t seen it yet.

I love that line, “I am glad I got in that car with you.” It is kind of cheesy, but fun. I want to say that line to Walberg.

Here is the international trailer, and it offers more information about the storyline.

The online trailer looks good.

Here is the Super Bowl Ad, short and sweet, and there is at least one new face.

Sir Anthony Hopkins narrates the teaser trailer with great visuals.
