Dog Man

“Dog Man” Trailer and Storyline

Directed by Emmy winner Peter Hastings, Dog Man is a canine-crime-fighting film adaptation of Dav Pilkey’s New York Times bestseller. A faithful police dog and his human police officer owner get injured together on the job. A foolish but life-saving surgery fuses them, and Dog Man, voiced by Isla Fisher, is born. Dog Man is sworn to protect, serve, fetch, sit and roll over.

As Dog Man embraces his new identity and strives to impress his Chief, voiced by Lil Rel Howery, he must stop the pretty evil plots of feline supervillain Petey the Cat, voiced by Pete Davidson.

Petey’s latest plan is to clone himself, creating the kitten Lil Petey, to double his ability to do crime. Things get complicated, though, when Lil Petey forges an unexpected bond with Dog Man.

When Lil Petey falls into the clutches of a common enemy, Dog Man and Petey reluctantly join forces in an action-packed race against time to rescue the young kitten. They discover the power of family (and kittens!) to bring even the most hostile foes together.

Dog Man also stars Sarah Hatoff, Poppy Liu, Stephen Root, Billy Boyd and Ricky Gervais.

On Hulu, “Vacation Friends 2” Trailer and Featurette

Clay Tarver directs Vacation Friends 2. The film follows Marcus, played by Lil Rel Howery, who lands an all-expense-paid trip to a Caribbean resort. He and his wife, played by Yvonne Orji, invite their uninhibited besties, played by John Cena and Meredith Hagner.

But when their friend’s incarcerated father is released from San Quentin and shows up, mayhem ensues, and the movie gets out of control and raunchier.

“Bad Trip” Trailer

Directed by Kitao Sakurai, Bad Trip is a ridiculous movie similar to Jackass and Bad Grandpa.

The producers seem to think a hidden camera with raunchy pranks is funny and makes a comedy worth seeing.

Tiffany Haddish stars in the movie about two best friends on a cross-country road trip full of hilarious, inventive pranks, pulling its real-life audience into the mayhem.

“Good Boys” Poster, Clip, Featurette & Trailers

With a name like Gene Stupnitsky, Good Boys is a perfect movie for him to direct with movie actors producing – Lee Eisenberg and Seth Rogen.

The movie follows three grade-school boys who panic after being invited to his first kissing party, Max, played by Jacob Tremblay. He had never kissed a girl before, and his rites of passage had arrived.

In need of pointers on how to kiss a girl, Max and his best friends Thor and Lucas, played by Brady Noon and Keith L. Williams, come up with some bright ideas. They borrow Max’s dad’s drones to spy on a teenage couple making out next door.

But when things go ridiculously wrong, the drone is destroyed. Desperate to replace the drone, Max’s dad, played by Will Forte, gets home; the boys skip school and set off on an odyssey of bad decisions. Their odyssey involves accidentally stolen drugs, frat-house paintball, and running from both the cops and terrifying teenage girls, played by Molly Gordon and Midori Francis.

The movie is available on Blu-ray, DVD, and streaming. It did poorly at the box office, so now you can watch it at home. The bonus features are an alternative ending and ten extended or deleted scenes.

Watch the red-band trailer and decide if you can’t believe they have boys saying and doing these things.

The second trailer reiterates how disgusting this movie will be. It is funny at some points, but the raunchy jokes are gross.

The following movie clip shows how south this movie goes. There are R-rated clips, but I decided not to show them. Tactless!

“Angry Birds 2” Trailers, Clips & Posters

Directed by Thurop Van Orman, Angry Birds 2 looks cold and silly. The domestic movie trailer shows a conflict of sorts between tropical birds in paradise and a tundra bird being miserable.

Peter Ackerman wrote the screenplay, and the little dialogue I can hear in the movie trailer appears not for kids’ ears. The storyline is not clear. The sequel seems to have a bigger voice cast with new and returning talent.

The studio promises the flightless birds, and scheming green pigs take their beef to the next level. I doubt the movie will be as addicting as the app.

The movie entertains kids of all ages. The competition we see in the app happens on the screen. The more powerful birds get the accolades as seen in this movie trailer.

I haven’t played the app game in a very long time. These posters are so cute, and the bird expressions are priceless.

The studio is calling this the fifth trailer, so enjoy. It is funny and cute.

The two clips are silly but funny. The bathroom clip is hilarious.

Two more movie clips that show how cute and silly these birds can get when they set their minds to it. The first clip is my favorite.

The “Sus Sis” clip is too funny and doesn’t help me understand this movie at all.

The next two clips show how the movie is ridiculous.
