Highest Romance in Ireland “Finding You”

Finding You

Based on a novel and directed by Brian Baugh, Finding You is a challenging romantic drama full of heart and humor about finding the strength to be true to oneself.

After an ill-fated audition at a prestigious New York music conservatory, violinist Finley Sinclair, Rose Reid, travels to an Irish coastal village for a semester of studying abroad.

At the B&B run by her host family, she encounters gregarious and persistent heartthrob movie star Beckett Rush, Jedidiah Goodacre, who is there to film another installment of his medieval fantasy-adventure franchise.

As romance sparks between the unlikely pair, Beckett ignites a journey of discovery for Finley that transforms her heart, music, and outlook on life.

Finley emboldens Beckett to reach beyond his teen-idol image and pursue his genuine passion. But when forces surrounding Beckett’s stardom threaten to crush their dreams, Finley must decide what she will risk for love.

The rest of the cast is impressive with Rose Reid, Jedidiah Goodacre, Katherine McNamara, Patrick Bergin, Saoirse-Monica Jackson, Judith Hoag, Tom Everett Scott and Vanessa Redgrave.

“Forever My Girl” Trailer, Poster, and Blu-ray/DVD

Written and directed by Bethany Ashton Wolf and based on the novel by Heidi McLaughlin, Forever My Girl, follows country music superstar Liam Page, played by Alex Roe. He left his bride, Josie, played by Jessica Rothe, at the altar choosing fame and fortune instead.

However, Liam never got over Josie, his one true love, nor did he ever forget his Southern roots in the small community where he was born and raised.

When he unexpectedly returns to his hometown for the funeral of his high school best friend, Liam is suddenly faced with the consequences of all that he left behind.

Whether the movie follows the book, I don’t know. But, below should give you an idea of the storyline. I am guessing it is content from the book.

“I was never supposed to be a rock star. I had my life all planned out for me. Play football in college. Go to the NFL. Marry my high school sweetheart and live happily ever after. I broke both our hearts that day when I told her I was leaving. I was young. I made the right decision for me, but the wrong decision for us. I’ve poured my soul into my music, but I’ve never forgotten her. Her smell, her smile. And now I’m going back. After ten years. I hope I can explain that after all this time. I still want her to be my forever girl.”

The Forever My Girl Blu-ray/DVD hit the streets, which means it is streaming, too, and I am looking forward to watching the movie. The country music sounds uplifting in the trailer. Before I watch the movie, I will make sure I have a box of tissues nearby.

For some reason, this trailer pulls my heartstrings. This movie looks like a chick flick who loves country music.

My guess is the movie is predictable with a happy ending.
