Written by Gil Kenan and Jason Reitman, and directed by Reitman, Ghostbusters: Afterlife becomes the next chapter in the original Ghostbusters franchise.
We follow a single mom, played by Carrie Coon, and her two kids, played by Stranger Things Finn Wolfhard and Mckenna Grace, who also stars in Troop Zero.
The family arrives in a small town. They begin to discover their connection to the original ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind.
The cast also includes Dan Aykroyd, Sigourney Weaver, Bill Murray, and Paul Rudd.
Directed by Steve McQueen, who won an Oscar for directing 12 Years a Slave, and co-writer and bestselling author Gillian Flynn, Gone Girl, follows four women who are widows. They share a circumstance of having a debt left behind by their dead husbands’ criminal activities.

Here are two more movie trailers. We get the gest of the movie, now. These women take charge of their lives and it’s payback time.
The movie also stars Liam Neeson, Colin Farrell, Robert Duvall, Daniel Kaluuya, Lukas Haas and Brian Tyree Henry.
The three movie clips so how fast the movie moves. I hope this is true throughout the movie. I viewed some interviews with the actors, screenwriter, and director. Each actor praised the director, McQueen. You can see these interviews on my YouTube Channel.
The movie clip tells us more about the story and why these ladies decided to turn themselves into tough chicks.
The official second trailer tells the story, and I am excited and can’t wait to see it.
The two trailers are similar but one is a red-band trailer, which means it is for mature audiences.
The Blu-ray, DVD, and streaming are available. Purchasing the Blu-ray package is nearly 60-minutes of bonus content, with three documentary featurettes filled with in-depth interviews and raw on-set footage detailing the compelling production story of the movie.
Written and directed by Josh and Jonathan Baker, the movie is about a young man and his adopted teenage brother. A revengeful criminal chases them, the feds and a gang of otherworldly soldiers. The supernatural means it has a science fiction twist to the story. Dennis Quaid stars as the father, and Carrie Coon, James Franco, and Zoe Kravitz star.
The young man, played by Jack Reynor, is recently released from prison. He and his brother, Eli, played by Myles Truitt, are forced to run. They have a rifle-like weapon of mysterious origin that Eli found. They use the rifle effectively because it is super powerful and needs to fight off some bad guys.
The poster on the right shows more about the movie. The otherworldly aspect of the story is evident. Not much is being told about the overall story yet.
The movie is streaming and is available on Blu-ray and DVD. Now it is your turn to watch it on your device.
Just below the poster on the right is the motion poster for Kin.
The poster focuses on the young boy who finds the alien gun.
The featurette teaches what it takes to be a sound designer for a movie like Kin. I love this stuff.
The movie clip shows Zoe Kravitz in action.
The movie clip shows how the alien gun works.
The movie clip shares a plot point in the story. That is interesting because I can’t imagine someone leaving that much money at a bar.
I am not sure why the movie is called Kin. It could be about the relations between the brothers being kin even though they are not blood-related. The title could be referring to the powerful weapon. Just have to see the movie to find out.
The movie trailer tells the story and what the two brothers are up against.
