Three directors, Greg Tiernan, Laura Brousseau, and Kevin Pavlovic, helmed the next Addams Family animated installment, rightfully called The Addams Family 2.
The Addams get tangled up in more wacky adventures and find themselves involved in hilarious run-ins with many unsuspecting characters. It looks like the same voice actors have returned for the sequel. The same cast includes Charlize Theron, Chloë Grace Moretz, and Oscar Isaac.
Directed by Shawn Levy, Free Guy follows a bank teller, played by Ryan Reynolds. He discovers that he’s actually an NPC inside a brutal, open-world video game.
Also starring in the movie are Taika Waititi and Jodie Comer.
Directed by Joel Crawford, The Croods: A New Age is a sequel to the 2013 film called The Croods. In the first movie, we meet the first family, The Croods, of the prehistoric era. The Oscar-nominated comedy is about a clan dealing with their changing world, which captivated global audiences, reminding us of the family’s timeless importance.
With the sequel, we get to see just how little we’ve evolved with an all-new adventure back in time with The Croods: A New Age. Returning stars Nicolas Cage, Emma Stone, Ryan Reynolds, Catherine Keener, Cloris Leachman, and Clark Duke welcome Leslie Mann and Peter Dinklage to the film’s cast as The Croods face their biggest threat since leaving the cave—another family.

Based on a book by Robert Kimmell Smith, the film looks like a lot of fun with a stellar cast that includes Uma Thurman, Christopher Walken, Jane Seymour, Cheech Martin, and Robert Riggle.
Enjoy these movie clips because they are a lot of fun and good laughs. There is some great talent in this film. Walken looks like he is in his element with skateboarding and falling from the sky as Santa Claus.
Written and directed by Christopher Landon, Freaky gets twisted with a take on the body-swap movie genre. A teenage girl, played by Kathryn Newton, switches bodies with a relentless serial killer.
The story is simple, horrific, and, hopefully, funny, as seventeen-year-old Millie Kessler is just trying to survive the bloodthirsty halls of Blissfield High. It’s the cruelty of the popular crowd that gets her down. But when she becomes the newest target of The Butcher, played by Vince Vaughn, her town’s infamous serial killer, her senior year becomes the least of her worries.
When The Butcher’s mystical ancient dagger causes him and Millie to wake up in each other’s bodies, Millie learns that she has just 24 hours to get her body back before the switch becomes permanent. She’s trapped in the form of a middle-aged maniac forever. The only problem is she now looks like a towering psychopath who’s the target of a city-wide manhunt, while The Butcher looks like her and has brought his appetite for more carnage at homecoming.
With some help from her friends, ultra-woke Nyla, played by Celeste O’Connor, ultra-fabulous Joshua, played by Misha Osherovich, and her crush Booker, played by Uriah Shelton, Millie races against the clock to reverse the curse. The Butcher discovers that having a female teen body is the perfect cover for a little homecoming killing spree.
The film also stars Alan Ruck, Katie Finneran, and Dana Drori.
Produced by Blumhouse, and it’s a pitch-black horror-comedy about a slasher, a senior, and the brutal truth about high school.
Written and directed by Miranda July comes a profoundly moving and wildly original comedy.
The story follows con-artists Theresa, played by Debra Winger, and Robert, played by Richard Jenkins. They have spent 26 years training their only daughter, Old Dolio, played by Evan Rachel Wood, to swindle, scam, and steal. During a desperate, hastily conceived heist, they charm a stranger, played by Gina Rodriguez into joining their next scam, only to have their entire world turned upside down.
Written, directed and co-produced by Natalie Krinsky, The Broken Hearts Gallery follows Lucy, played by Geraldine Viswanathan, who, for every relationship she had, saves a souvenir from that relationship.
The story follows the always unique Lucy, a 20-something art gallery assistant living in New York City who is also an emotional hoarder.
After being dumped by her latest boyfriend, Lucy becomes inspired to create The Broken Heart Gallery, a pop-up space for the items love has left behind.
The idea of a broken heart gallery spreads to other romantic people. They become a part of the movement, making a fresh start, including Lucy, by leaving a trinket of a former relationship.
You will notice Nick, played by Dacre Montgomery, who is cute and a possible love interest for Lucy as they partner up and create the art gallery.
Krinsky wrote for TV episodic shows like Gossip Girl and Grey’s Anatomy. The Broken Hearts Gallery appears to be her first feature.
The rest of the cast in this romantic comedy includes Utkarsh Ambudkar, Molly Gordon, Phillipa Soo, Suki Waterhouse, Arturo Castro, Ego Nwodim, Taylor Hill and Bernadette Peters.
You can also catch Viswanathan in Ethan Cohen’s Drive-Away Dolls, a comedy caper also starring Margaret Qualleyan.
Directed by Dean Parisot, the franchise returns with writers Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon—Bill and Ted Face the Music. The film will continue to track the time-traveling exploits of William “Bill” S. Preston Esq. and Theodore “Ted” Logan. Yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny, the now middle-aged best friends set out on a new adventure when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it.
They will also include their daughters, who help them along the way. A new batch of historical figures join the fantasy, and a few music legends seek the song that will set their world right and bring harmony to the universe.
Dean Parisot also directed Galaxy Quest, and as mentioned earlier, the second installment script is by Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon.
These two guys seem like they are having too much fun time traveling.
The featurette moves quickly through clips of the original movie and the sequel. There are interviews with the director and producers who explain what happens when Bill and Ted are older with daughters a lot like them.
This featurette is fun to watch and talks about the large cast.
