“Landscape With Invisible Hand” Trailers, Clips, Featurettes and Poster

Written for the screen and directed by Cory Finley, Landscape with Invisible Hand is based on the Book by: M.T. Anderson.

Two teens, played by Kylie Rogers and Asante Blackk, plan to secure their families’ futures in a world of alien rule, where the aliens have advanced technology. The teenagers pose as boyfriend and girlfriend to earn viewer shares. But they fake it to make money.

Tiffany Haddish also stars in the film.

Scorsese and DiCaprio “Killers of the Flower Moon”

Martin Scorsese co-wrote the screenplay with Eric Roth and directed Killers of the Flower Moon based on David Grann’s best-selling book.

The film follows Ernest Burkhard, played by Leonardo DiCaprio, and Mollie Kyle, played by Lily Gladstone, in an improbable romance. At the turn of the 20th century, oil brought a fortune to the Osage Nation, who became some of the wealthiest people in the world overnight.

The wealth of these Native Americans attracted white interlopers. They manipulated, extorted, and stole as much Osage money as possible before committing murder.

The movie also stars Robert De Niro and Jesse Plemons.

“MEG 2: The Trench” Trailer, Living Poster and Posters

Ben Wheatley directed MEG 2: The Trench from the screenplay by Jon Hoeber, Dean Georgaris and Eric Hoeber. The science fiction action film stars Jason Statham, Wu Jing, Sienna Guillory, and Page Kennedy.

Based on Steve Alten’s 1999 novel The Trench, which is part of a series about a prehistoric megalodon, a giant shark, The catchphrase when he introduced his first novel was “Jurassic Shark.”

I met Alten before his book first was published. It’s a fascinating success story, where I think he had to make some wise career choices.

“Dune: Part Two” Trailers and Poster

From Denis Villeneuve’s and Jon Spaihts’s screenplay, Dune: Part Two follows Paul Atreides, played by Timothée Chalamet, uniting with Chani, played by Zendaya, and the Freman. They’re on a conquest to revenge against the conspirators who destroyed Paul’s family.

Denis Villeneuve directs the sequel by continuing with unique cultures and a storyline based on the book written by Frank Herbert.

Facing a decision between the love of his life and the fate of the universe, Paul must fight a terrible future only he can foresee.

Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson, Christopher Walken, Josh Brolin and Javier Bardem also star.

Agatha Christie’s “A Haunting in Venice” Trailers, Clips, and Featurettes

Kenneth Branagh, once again, directs an Agatha Christie story, A Haunting in Venice. He plays Hercule Poirot, a Belgian sleuth who investigates a murder while participating in a Halloween seance.

Branagh directed a stellar cast, including Jami Dorman, Michelle Yeoh and Tina Fey.

“Silo” Trailers and Images

Mission Impossible actress Rebecca Ferguson stars with a fine cast in the Apple TV series Silo, based on the book series of the same name by Hugh Howey.

In a science-fiction, dystopia storyline, we follow Juliette, played by Ferguson, in a ruined and toxic future. Here, a giant underground silo community plunged hundreds of stories deep.
People live in a society full of regulations that they believe protect them.

Also starring in the series are Tim Robbins, Rashida Jones, Harriet Walter and Ferdinand Kingsley.

“City on Fire” Trailer and Images

Jesse Peretz directed City on Fire about someone shooting an NYU college student in Central Park on July 4, 2003. Based on the book of the same name by Garth Risk Hallberg, Apple TV has turned the story into an episodic series.

The investigation connects her to mysterious citywide fires and the downtown music scene.

A wealthy uptown real estate family enters the fray under the strain of the many secrets they keep.

“The Boogeyman” Trailers

Rob Savage directs The Boogeyman from the producers of Stranger Things, based on a short story of the same name by Stephen King.

The film follows high school student Sadie Harper, played by Sophie Thatcher, and her little sister, Sawyer, played by Vivien Lyra. They’re still emotionally shaken from the death of their mother.

Their father, Will, a therapist played by Chris Messina, is not giving them much support because he has intense emotional pain from her death.

A desperate patient, played by David Dastmalchian, of Will’s unexpectedly shows up at their house, seeking help. He leaves behind a terrifying supernatural entity. The entity preys on families, feeding off the suffering of its victims.

“The Last Thing He Told Me” Trailer

Jesse Peretz directs The Last Thing He Told Me, starring Jennifer Garner. Based on Laura Dave’s novel, the movie follows Hannah Hall, played by Garner, whose husband Owen disappears without a trace.

He leaves a note with three words, “Protect Her. HH,” referring to her stepdaughter, Bailey.
Hannah soon discovers dark secrets that place both of their lives in danger.

Dave’s novel was a page-turner until the end, like a bullet hitting the water, disappointing. It’ll be interesting to see how Peretz ends the movie.

“The Last Voyage of the Demeter” Trailer, Clips, Featurettes and Poster

André Øvredal directs The Last Voyage of the Demeter, based on a chilling chapter from Bram Stoker’s classic novel Dracula.

The scary story is about a Demeter ship carrying 50 wooden crates from Carpathia to London.

Strange events occur to the doomed crew as they attempt to survive the ocean voyage, stalked each night by a ruthless presence onboard the ship.

When the Demeter finally arrives off the shores of England, it is a charred, derelict wreck. There is no trace of the crew.

The cast of the horror movie includes Corey Hawkins, Aisling Franciosi, Liam Cunningham and David Dastmalchian.
