“The Biggest Little Farm” Poster & Trailer

Directed by John Chester, an established documentarian, The Biggest Little Farm follows a husband and wife team as they dream of sustainable living on a 200-acre piece of land in the foothills of Ventura County. The documentary received several nominations and awards, including the “Truly Moving Picture Award” from the Heartland Film Festival and Best Documentary at the Palm Springs International Film Festival.

A testament to the immense complexity of nature, it all started when they received an eviction notice from their tiny LA apartment. John and Molly Chester decided to hoof it to the rural area and make or break it, building a diverse farm. The goal is to create a kind of farm that coexists with nature.

The area of land they chose is depleted of nutrients and suffering from a brutal drought. Still, Chester saw a chance to make a documentary, so they filmed for eight years. They took on the daunting task and unreal idealism as an attempt to create the utopia they seek, planting 10,000 orchard trees and over 200 different crops and bringing in animals of every kind- including an unforgettable pig named Emma and her best friend, Greasy the rooster.

When they finally sense a reawakening and the hope they will reap the benefits of their hard-earned effort, their plan goes awry and through wild turns. They come to terms with surviving, taking a greater understanding of the intricacies and wisdom of nature and life itself.

“Apollo 11” Trailer

Directed by Todd Douglas Miller, Apollo 11 is a documentary that takes a look at Apollo 11 mission to land on the moon. The mission led by commander Neil Armstrong and pilot Buzz Aldrin is shown through real-time footage during the time of the preparation and launch of the historical event.

The footage before and during this event is amazing and revolutionary in the fact of what this event meant to the people of Earth on that summer day in 1969 when Neil Armstrong step foot on the moon.

This is Miller’s first attempt at directing a documentary, and the footage looks good.

“Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark” TV Spots, Featurettes, Trailers and Posters

Directed by André Øvredal, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark is inspired by one of the most horrific and terrifying children’s book series of the same name authored by Alvin Schwartz. The movie follows a group of young teens. Each teen must try and solve the mystery surrounding sudden and macabre deaths in their small town.

The ensemble cast includes Zoe Colletti, Michael Garza, Gabriel Rush, Austin Abrams, Dean Norris, Gil Bellows, Lorraine Toussaint, Austin Zajur, and Natalie Ganzhorn.

Dan Hageman and Kevin Hageman hold top billing as screenwriters of the movie, and four more screenwriters worked on the script, including Guillermo del Toro, one of the producers. Øvredal directing credits include Trollhunter and The Autopsy of Jane Doe, both scary and creepy movies.

The four TV spots that arrived during the Super Bowl commercials were being touted. Keep in mind these TV spots are short and quick to the scare.

The TV spots arrived before the trailer, and now, the trailer is here. Scary Stories is a horror movie with different related stories as the movie. The public will flock to the box office when it comes to horror movies. This movie will be no different.

The trailer presentation featurette tells us how the movie idea started with
Guillermo del Toro. He talks about collaborating with Øvredal.

The next trailer tells us more about the book of scary stories and promotes the director and producer of the horror movie.

The next movie trailer shows us more of the horrific aspects of the movie. Each scary story is told as a lesson learned.

The featurette is creepy and sets up a conceptual understanding of what to expect from the movie in general. The idea that these are old and simple horror stories told over a campfire is intriguing.

The next three featurettes are scary and creepy.

The interview with the producer and director is worth watching.

Weird Surprise “The Beach Bum” Trailer, Clips & Poster

Written and directed by Harmony Korine, The Beach Bum follows a crazy, over-the-top poetic burnout named Moondog, played by Matthew McConaughey. He is trying to write his “great American novel” and experience sexual relations in rapid succession.

The eclectic includes Isla Fisher, Snoop Dog, Jimmy Buffet, Martin Lawerence, and Zac Efron. Watch the movie trailer and get a feel for the movie.

The next five movie clips show the craziness of this movie. The clip with the dolphin boat captain is funny but the editing is rough. I am not quite sure what the message is in the movie. I am thinking he makes up for his estrangement from his daughter.

Directed by David Leitch, the next franchise installment brings us the first stand-alone sequel as Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham reprise their roles as Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw in Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw.

Helen Mirren plays Shaws’ mother.

The second trailer puts us right into the action and destruction with unbelievable, and crazy, wild stunts.

The featurette explains Hobbs’ brothers and what it means to Johnson.

The movie clip shows the cleverness of the screenplay and the detail of the scenes. The cinematography by Cuaron is stunning. Cuaron wrote, directed, and shot the movie. The details of the story are so powerful.

Cuaron, who won an Oscar for Gravity, has already captured a Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film and Best Director. Aparicio is nominated for an Oscar for

“A Dog’s Journey” Trailer and Poster

Sappy, sappy, and tears, I am a sucker for a movie about dog souls returning to their masters or mistresses. What a great story about how friendships transcend lifetimes. The movie trailer tells the whole story, but heck, I am sold. I want to see this movie.

Directed by Gail Mancuso, who won an Emmy for TV’s Modern Family, it creates a movie about how some friendships transcend lifetimes. A Dog’s Journey is the sequel to the popular film A Dog’s Purpose. Bailey finds his new destiny and forms an unbreakable bond, leading him through unconditional love and companionship.

Bailey, voiced by Josh Gad, is living the good life on the Michigan farm of his “boy,” Ethan, played by Dennis Quaid, and Ethan’s wife, Hannah, played by Marg Helgenberger. His new playmate is Ethan and Hannah’s baby granddaughter, CJ.

The movie is available on Blu-ray and DVD and streaming online.

The problem is that CJ’s mom, Gloria, played by Betty Gilpin, decides to take CJ away. As Bailey’s soul prepares to leave this life for a new one, he makes a promise to Ethan to find CJ and protect her at any cost.

Thus begins Bailey’s adventure through multiple lives filled with love, friendship and devotion as he, CJ, played by Kathryn Prescott, and CJ’s best friend Trent, played by Henry Lau, experience joy and heartbreak, music, and laughter.

“Everybody Knows” Trailer, Featurette, Interview and Movie Clip

Directed by Asghar Farhadi, Everybody Knows follows Laura, played by Penelope Cruz, a Spanish woman living in Buenos Aires. She returns to her hometown outside Madrid with her two children to attend her sister’s wedding. However, the trip is upset by unexpected events that bring secrets into the open.

Javier Bardem stars opposite Cruz (who are a real-life couple) as a former lover. The upset on her trip is tragic. The movie trailer indicates a kidnapping or disappearance. It’s not clear, but someone is missing. I believe it is her daughter.

The movie is in Spanish with English subtitles.

After watching the movie clip “Call the Cops.” we find out Laura’s daughter is missing and, at best, kidnapped.

The movie is being called a big-screen thriller. It is scary and intense. This was not obvious in the last clips and trailers. The featurette shows how intense the movie truly is.

The full interview with Cruz is now available for you to view. She explains the story, her character, and her character’s relationship with everyone involved in the story. Cruz talks about working with her husband as well. It’s a beautiful interview, and you get to be with her for a little over 8 minutes.

Nicholas Sean Johnny. Elijah is mixed up with the MS-13 gang in the crime-ridden burg of Washington, D.C. He works as a runner for the gang and is connected to the gang’s ruthless drug lord, Rincon, played by David Castaneda. His big brother Lucas, played by Elijah Rodriguez, desperately wants to keep him safe, so they flee for their lives.

Meanwhile, the brothers befriend a veteran named, played by Jean-Claude Van Damme, who is still traumatized from being in the armed service. Daniel helps them find their revenge against Rincon and the MS-13 gang.

“Run The Race” Trailer and Movie Clip

Directed by Chris Dowling, Run The Race follows two brothers, Zach and David Truett, played by Tanner Stine and Evan Hofer. Their lives are up and down with cheering crowds muted by a lonesome home. The faith-based story focuses on how the brothers are desperate and willing to sacrifice today for a better tomorrow.

Reeling from his mother’s death and his father’s abandonment, Zach is an All-State athlete and finds glory on the football field. He is working toward a college scholarship and the brother’s ticket out of town. Zach, an All-State athlete, finds glory on the football field, working to earn a college scholarship and the brothers’ ticket out of town.

A devastating injury puts Zach—and his dreams—on the sidelines. David laces up his track, cleats to salvage their future, and sends their lives toward hope.

Zach’s knee injury brought him closer to the hospital nurse named Ginger, played by
Kelsey Reinhardt. Things get serious, and Zach has uncertainties about God threatening to tear them apart. He turns to what comes naturally to him: running.

The movie clip establishes how Michael is contemptuous towards his father for neglecting his two sons after their mother died. The acting is real and heartfelt as we also find out why Michael drives to be a football star and breaks records.
