In the official second trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Jyn Erso leads a group of unlikely heroes to steal the plans for the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction.

I want to know what happened to the other characters from the last Star Wars movie. I wonder why they are not in this trailer. The film hit the theaters on December 16, 2016, and I discovered my ignorance of the Star Wars fandom. This story happens before the other movies.

The producers base the story on one line in the movie from the original Star Wars Episode 4: A New Hope. Though the ending was brutal to watch, the film is worth watching. It’s a well-made movie.
