I am sure there is more to the story, but Lanthimos films appear skewed with abbreviated characters. As the reviews appear, the storyline becomes hashed out.

“Alien: Romulus” Trailers

Fede Alvarez directed Alien: Romulus, a film about a group of young people from a distant world who come face-to-face with the most terrifying life form in the universe. Dan O’Bannon, Fede Alvarez and Rodo Sayagues wrote the script. Ridley Scott, the original director of the Alien franchise, produced the movie.

The first trailer is six seconds over one minute, so it doesn’t tell us much. We hear screaming and see a bloodbath and aliens. Alvarez reportedly said the story takes place between the Alien and Aliens movies.

Historically, Romulus was the creator and initial king of Rome. He’s also known for having a twin brother, Remus. Mythology surrounds Romain history at this time with unclear events and institutions.

Nothing is left to the imagination. It is pretty graphic.

The cast of Alien: Romulus includes Isabela Merced, Cailee Spaeny, Archie Renaux and David Jonsson.

Skarsgard shared his thoughts about portraying the iconic character: “I was a huge fan of the original film growing up as a kid and was so honored to take on the role of Eric Draven.” Skarsgard commented that working with Twigs was magical. “I can’t wait for the world to see the film.” He hopes the film “resonates with audiences as strongly as it did with those of us involved.”

She said Sanders is an extraordinary director. “I am so excited that the trailer is being unveiled and even more excited to have the world see the film this summer.”

Sanders adds that Draven’s “story is about tragic loss, about dealing with the pain of everything that comes with losing someone you love. It is about the dark shadow of grief.”

Mario Garcia wrote and directed The Throwback, a comedy that chronicles the lives of Kate, played by Justina Machado, and Matt Morgan, played by Will Sasso. Kate experiences a post-traumatic breakdown after a bank robbery, thrusting her back to her college years with no recollection of the past 26.

As Matt steps up to navigate household duties and school volunteering, Kate grapples with the fact she’s a 19-year-old in a 45-year-old body, discovering that nostalgic Daisy Duke shorts no longer fit, cardio fails to work its magic, and trading a new minivan for a ’92 Mustang convertible is far from a game changer. Amidst the chaos, Kate’s reawakened libido resurrects her and Matt’s dormant sexual spark.

Will Kate’s new awakening keep her family and husband continue to support Kate’s new awakening, or will Kate come to terms with her true identity?

Immaculate
Amazon will soon have the horror film streaming or available on Blu-ray.

Mohan describes his directorial intention: “And the story’s culmination, which I will only hint at here, is intended to leave audiences breathless, inviting introspection without prescribing answers—all unfolding within a tight 89 minutes.”

Collaborating on this film wasn’t just the greatest honor of my life; it was a chance to make something that could stand the test of time. My hope is that Immaculate feels like the ultimate rollercoaster ride, leaving you haunted, introspective, and beautifully traumatized,” concludes Mohan.

Immaculate is a horror movie.

The supporting cast includes Álvaro Morte, Simona Tabasco, and Benedetta Porcaroli.
