Directed by Ruben Fleischer, who helmed movies like Zombieland and Gangster Squad, the movie’s storyline took some time to become fully available. The overall story is amazing with Tom Hardy adding his dynamic talent. You can watch the trailer and get a feel for what is happening in Venom. Each trailer gradually tells about the story, and it is cool to watch as it unfolds.
You might recall Venom in the Spider-man comics. Comic book fans will tell you that Venom arrived on the streets in 1993 with Lethal Protector. David Micheline wrote the limited series and Mark Bagley, Ron Lim, and Sam DeLarosa designed the art.
In the comic book story, it is understood that Venom turns into a complete anti-hero. Heading to San Francisco, Venom and Spider-man team up and fight some villains. My curiosity wanted to know if the movie followed the comic books. After watching the movie trailer, I doubted it, which was correct.
The first poster from the top shows a sinister and very dark character. The second poster shows Tom Hardy’s transformation. The movie is streaming now or available on Blu-ray and DVD.
One thing is for sure, the movie is about one of Marvel’s most enigmatic, complex and distinctly threatening superheroes to ever come to the comic world. Hardy stars as the destructive protector called Venom.
Michelle Williams, and Riz Ahmed star alongside Brady. At what capacity their roles are, there is no word as of yet, though in the trailer there is an indication Williams plays a former girlfriend. It seems the overall storyline is hush-hush, which is written by Scott Rosenberg, Jeff Pinkner, and Kelly Marcel.
The fourth trailer is three minutes long with a full-length frame of Venom. He is wicked and totally anti-superhero.
The second trailer is scary, like a horror movie. Tom Hardy is good as the reluctant anti-hero. The Venom looks a lot like the alien in Aliens. I just don’t like that tongue.
